Regenerative farming on the Rowsley Fault
Situated on the edge of the Rowsley Valley Fault line – a picturesque volcanic lava flow that falls into deep sunklands just 60km west of Melbourne.
We enjoy stunning views of Melbourne, the You Yangs mountain range, the White Elephant Reserve, and the Brisbane Ranges.
Friendly visitors pop over from the Werribee Gorge State Park next door – echidnas, lace monitors and phascogales have all been to visit recently!
Regenerative agriculture
Over a decade we have worked hard to transform degraded, over-grazed, weed and rabbit infested land into a productive farm that embraces regenerative agriculture. We farm carbon into the soil through careful pasture management, and our cattle graze at extremely low stocking rates. This encourages beautiful, biodiverse, native pastures.
Partnerships
We collaborate with Landcare, Melbourne Water, Grow West, the Port Phillip and Westernport Catchment Management Authority, and Wadawurrung Traditional Owners. With our partners, we have planted over 40,000 trees and shrubs and revegetated the waterways that run through the property. We are proud to be a demonstration site for other farmers and interested community groups.
